Sun’s soulful music draws on a deep well of Americana and is compared to everyone from Jack Johnson, John Mayer and The Avett Brothers to Van Morrison and Bob Dylan. He’s played festivals from California (Strawberry Music Festival, American River Music Festival) to Europe (Belladrum in Scottland, Fiesta City in Belgium) and opened for such luminaries as Lyle Lovett, Bonnie Rait, Steve Earle, Keb Mo, Brett Dennen and the Beach Boys (Forest met famed Beach Boys producer Van Dyke Parks at festival porch jam and later swapped songs on his piano at his house in LA). He’s opened for Bonnie Raitt, The Beach Boys, Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett, Jackson Browne, Keb Mo and Brett Dennen, Mason Jennings and Chris Smither among others. Musical collaborations on his records include Jolie Holland, Sean Hayes, ALO , JTNero of Birds of Chicago. and Hot Buttered Rum.
Forest’s songs mine his deep folk roots and embrace his love of gospel, reggae, Americana, country, soul, jazz and funk.

Travis Shallow is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and recording artist. He is best known for his prolific solo career, with his most recent single, “Let It Pass”, released on Cavity Search Records on June 26th, 2020. Shallow released his debut self-titled solo album, Travis Shallow, in 2016. Recorded at Tweed Recording Studio in Oxford, MS and engineered by Andrew Ratcliffe whose discography includes Will Hoge, The Damnwells, and American Aquarium. After the release of his self-titled album in March ’16, Shallow landed himself national opening spots with legend Gregg Allman from Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real (son of legend Willie Nelson), The Marcus King Band, Jerry Joseph, Todd Snider, and fellow native North Carolina band, American Aquarium.
Shallow then began writing for and fronting a new full band line-up, Travis Shallow & The Deep End, with their debut studio album titled, The Great Divide, released in 2017.
