At the budding age of just 15 years old, Noah Teal is proof that age is nothing but a number  when it comes to the ability to shred a guitar. Noah, who first picked up a guitar at just five years  old, has now been perfecting his craft for an entire decade.

He first began by picking through the riffs of Alex Lifeson of Rush, the solos of Eddie Van Halen,  and many other rock players such as Slash of Guns N’ Roses, Angus Young from ACDC, Joe  Walsh and Don Felder of the Eagles, and David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. At the time though,  his most notable feat was multiple performances of Jimi Hendrix’s version of “The Star Spangled Banner” at school and many other places across Georgia.

Before starting his solo adventure, Noah played as lead guitar in the Jackson, Georgia-based  band “The Olde Soles” around the age of 10 with friends from school and his sister. The Soles  played ‘70s and ‘80s classic rock hits such as “Back In Black,” “Hotel California” and “Sweet  Child O’ Mine” to name a few. But something just wasn’t clicking for him. Then it happened in  May of 2018 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre; guitar god and Noah’s soon-to-be idol came to town – none other than Joe Bonamassa…

In November of 2019, Noah Teal would hit the stage for the first time along with a backing band  for nearly an hour’s worth of blues and blues-rock, cementing the beginning of Noah’s only plan  in life. Noah, along with his backing band The Express, now has a multitude of highly successful shows in the Southeast under his belt, including most recently opening for award-winning and  national touring blues guitarist & singer, Samantha Fish.

Among his most notable accomplishments, Noah is now a featured artist of the Gibson  Authorized Guitar Builder Banker Custom Guitars out of North Georgia, in which he is in good  company alongside such artists as Brent Hinds of Mastodon, Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr,  Benji Shanks and Paul Jackson, and Coy Bowles of The Zac Brown Band, the latter of which is  co-writing and producing Noah’s debut record set to be released fall of 2021.

There’s no doubt that the future of this 15-year-old guitar slinger from Jackson Lake, Georgia is  a bright one. With the help and generosity of such people like Norman’s Rare Guitars featuring  him in a video, Songbirds Guitar Museum and Foundation bringing him up to play the museum’s  most expensive and prized instruments, sponsorship by Banker Custom Guitars, Grammy  Award-winning Coy Bowles’ co-writing and producing guidance on the first record, and the  support of many, many others, there is a high probability you will be hearing the name Teal  again.

You don’t want to miss out on following the budding career of this up-and-coming guitar player,  singer and songwriter.
